The Land is Crying Out
Dak Lak province has around 208,000 ha of coffee. Over 80% of it is farmed with chemicals — and the cost is more than soil health.
- 80%+
- of coffee farms use chemical fertilizers & pesticides
- 96%
- of farmers rely on chemical inputs, only 4% use biologicals
- 5
- consequences: degraded soil - water pollution - farmer health hazards - consumer risks - unstable income
"Can healing begin from the way we grow and consume?" — The founding question of Forest Farm My Home Project
Multi-Layer Forest Ecosystem
Forest Farm is not just a farming method. It is a living, multi-layered design where every organism plays a vital role in natural energy transfer.

Economic Forest Farm
+ My Home Garden
The model integrates two synergetic segments: Economic Forest Farm (coffee, pepper, banana intercropped with at least 36 forest trees/ha and bio-fences); and My Home Garden (300-1,000m² of vegetables, supplying 50-70% of family food needs).
Zero chemical fertilizers — plant biomass, compost, and native nitrogen-fixing trees form the input
Multi-layered & biodiverse — from ground grasses to emergent canopy trees, creating a micro-climate shield
Diverse income streams — coffee, pepper, banana, and timber crops ensure year-round resilience
Absorbs 8-15 tons CO₂/ha/year — mitigates greenhouse effects while regenerating soil water table
The "My Home Forest Farm" solution
Before-and-after report from the sites — the journey from conventional farming to a regenerative forest-farm model.
| BEFORE CULTIVATION | CATEGORY | AFTER CULTIVATION |
|---|---|---|
| Monoculture, high reliance on single coffee crops | SYSTEM DESIGN | Multi-layered, biodiverse canopy: coffee, pepper, banana, timber and fruits |
| Heavy chemical fertilizers and pesticide usage, rapid soil degradation | SOIL HEALTH | Natural biomass, compost, and native green cover; highly fertile soil & water retention |
| Raw crop selling at low market rates, market-dependent | PRODUCT VALUE | Traceable Fine Robusta, roasting, Farm Tour — high value |
